Fareground Launches Free Community Dinners every Friday!

You can find out on Fareground’s social media pages (FB & IG) where their Welcome Table community meal menus are posted each week. This week it might be Italian, next week it could be Mexican, Asian, or other cultural fare, but whatever it is, there is always a vegan option, and it is always free and open to the public. If you can’t make it in person, you can pick up your meal(s) to go! Fareground Welcome Table offers free community meals every Friday evening hosted by the First Presbyterian Church in Beacon at 50 Liberty Street from 5:30-7:30 pm. Bring your friends and neighbors, especially if they live alone. 

Fareground offers the Welcome Table as a community building experience. It’s a chance to get out of the house and away from your screens to enjoy a family style meal with others in your neighborhood - kind of like a barn raising, but without the barn!  Join us this Friday!

Fareground Welcome Table is sponsored by Fareground, the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon, and Songbird, and invites residents of Beacon, Fishkill, Wappingers, Newburgh, Cold Spring, New Windsor…and beyond. Ingredients are provided by Second Chance Foods in Brewster, your donations, and prepared by volunteers. If you are interested in helping us prepare or serve meals, sign up to volunteer.  Ingredient donations are always welcome and monetary donations can be made online or mailed to Fareground, PO Box 615, Beacon, NY 12508.
